SRK is a unique company without any comparison. Relation like worker and boss is not prevailing in this company. The feeling of family member is there in the environment and that is why the company stood firmly even at the time of Recession in the Industry.
Before seven years the laser breaking ratio was around 2.5 % in laser department which was high with the comparison of other companies. At that time Govindkaka (Founder & Chairman) discussed with us this problem and asked for the improvement. The words of family member were there in his voice for the advice to us. After that we were successful in bringing down the breakage ratio to 0.5 %. To get a chance for correcting the mistakes is not possible for everyone. That is the reason why I feel proud to be the part of this great organization.

I am in the diamond industry since 40 years but never worked in the company like this where there is such an excellent compensation system to appreciate your hard work and workers are treated more like family members. I am working in this company since last 21 years. When I planned to join SRK, just by hearing the name of Govindkaka, I was supposed to be very religious and go for the various religious activities and service. It was only this company who accepted my religious practice and was allowed for special leave for such social activities. I never felt anytime during my 21 years of workmanship in this company that it is not a good place for me. Even though, I don’t have any relative of mine in the management side of the company, I was promoted to management team from a normal executive. It shows the transparency and growth hierarchy of the company.

I really like the work atmosphere of the company. In SRK, we work as one team and team in the sense, not only with my colleagues but also with our managers & head of departments and up till the level of Chairman which happens in very rare case at other places. I personally think that it is the reason why the company’s growth was not affected by recession and gave its best performance when everyone else was trying to sustain the economic turmoil.

It is seen in very rare case that the company do not have any employee. Infect, it would be better to say that company is not recruiting any employee. Company recruits the person who has the capacity to be the family member of SRK. I joined the company as a worker and was promoted to as a head of the polishing department. It was possible only because of the neutral appraisal system which company is practicing.
